OUR MISSION

Shield the Orphans of War Society's mission is to finance the construction and operation of specially designed orphanages to protect and uplift Afghanistan’s war orphans—children who have lost everything to conflict, poverty, and displacement.

WHY IT MATTERS

Afghanistan’s war orphans face unimaginable hardship:

Starvation and homelessness
Exploitation and trafficking
Radicalization and abuse
Lack of access to education or healthcare

These children are often invisible to the world. We’re here to make sure they’re not forgotten.

OUR APPROACH

Build safe, fully equipped and self-sustaining orphanage centers
Deliver emergency aid: food, clothing, clean water, medical supplies
Provide education, skilled trades training, and self defense/martial arts training
Partner with vetted local organizations for culturally sensitive care
Advocate for international recognition and protection of war orphans

SOW plans to construct fully equipped and fully self-sufficient orphanages. The orphanages, which will be called WAHEEDA Center, will include the following, on-site:

1. Living quarters

2. Full equipped kitchen and dinning hall

3. A medical clinic for urgent care

4. Mental health services

5. An educational center

6. Recreational & skilled trades training center

7. A mixed martial arts studio to train each orphan in the art of Self Defense and those interested will be trained for a professional career in Mixed Martial Arts.

NOTE:

The martial arts studios in the WAHEEDA Centers will be showcasing Michael's martial arts training equipment invention called FS1 (Fight Smart 1) by FIGHT SMART TECH CORP (fightsmarttechcorp.ca) based out of North Vancouver BC, Canada--which was also founded by Michael Ahmadzai, with the goal of permanently funding the mission of SOW Society.

THE ENVISIONED DESIGN OF THE WAHEEDA CENTERS:

The orphanages will be similar in size to that of an average college campus, with an enclosed compound, where all amenities are on-site and within an enclosed high-walled compound. This is to prevent harm from stray bullets and other dangers that armed conflict has posed to orphans of war. Orphans will be trained in skills that would enable them to help in the day to day operations of the orphanage, based on individual student's interest.

This approach is based on the world renowned training model of The DELANCY Center based out of USA. This model will build leadership, management, mentorship, and healthy team building skills in each program participant, allowing them to take initiatives in building and nurturing their communities and the younger orphans. The most important aspect of this model is that it helps the participants find meaning, purpose and fulfillment in their lives and teaching the same to their younger fellow orphans.

ENSURING THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF THE RESIDENCE ON CAMPUS

There will be high trained and licensed security officer, trained by Michael's very own SUPREME SECURITY & STRATEGIC CONSULTING INC (supremessc.ca), which specialized in executive protection and VIP security services internationally. All other staff at the WAHEEDA Centers will be appointed through a comprehensive vetting, screening and certification process conducted jointly by both the SOW Society and Shelter Now International organization to prevent any potential harm coming to the orphans.

Likewise, the Self Defense instructors will be trained and CERTIFIED in Tactical Defense System program created by non other than Michael himself who is an expert in mixed martial arts and executive protection services. This certification program will be offered ONLY through SUPREME SECURITY & STRATEGIC CONSULTING INC.

Furthermore, each WAHEEDA Center will be equipped with a mixed martial arts studio proudly making FS1 (Fight Smart 1). FS1 is the most advanced, dynamic, realistic and AI integrated MMA training equipment with real time performance measurement mechanism invented by Michael Ahmadzai himself. Residents of the WAHEEDA Center(s) will receive mandatory self defense training while using the best training equipment in the world. For students who desire to pursue a professional career in combat sports, free and top level professional combat training will be provided by CERTIFIED Instructors through Fight Smart Tech Corp. World Champions from different fight organizations will be invited to hold training and motivational camps several times per year to encourage and specifically mentor the students who demonstrate a consistent level of achievement and readiness to elevate their fighting career to an international level. We believe MMA would provide an excellent and healthy outlet for negative emotional release while learning to control and channel it toward a positive goal be it self-defense, professional fighting or general fitness improvement.
